Mission of American Spaces

The mission for establishing American Spaces, is to promote mutual understanding between the United States and the people of Nigeria.

The American Windows accomplish this by providing information about the United States including its government, history, culture, and educational system through the books and electronic resources provided by the U.S. Government.

There are three “E”s of American Spaces: Engagement, Education and Empowerment. This Window provides enormous educational opportunities and broad range of public engagement activities that will be of immense benefit to both young and old. It leverages on digital engagements to provide in-person and virtual programs to our communities in order to empower them.
